Fallen

Many of the camellia blooms at the Botanical Gardens have survived the cold snap a few weeks ago.  We've had so much rain that they were scattered on the ground. I loved the browned blossoms along with the pink ones.

For those of you in the B'ham area, I'll be teaching From Snapshots to Photographs at Samford After Sundown again soon. Please join us!

Virginia, thanks for this photo. I can't count the times I saw sights just like this, back when I lived in Jackson, Mississippi, and walked around in my maternal grandmother's yard. About the rain, everyone I know in Jackson is tired of it. And thank goodness no one I know got hurt when the tornado hit Hattiesburg--I think their houses are OK, too.
