Waiting

Sitting all day, waiting for interested customers is one of the hardest things about showing your work at an art show.  This artist's silhouette caught my eye as she relaxed under the shade tree during the Magic City Art Connection last weekend.

Very nice silhouette.

Nice image. I imagine it would be even harder for folks to walk into your tent and wrinkle their noses, snort or otherwise indicate that they don't like your work. I have a delicate ego and would not like that.

Terrific capture, Virginia.

Your portrait is so good, now I'm worried about her. I hope she realized some success, because it's a brave thing to do.

That's a wonderful picture. Waiting for customers like this can be discouraging.

I heard about the 50th anniversary reenactment of the B'ham children's march on NPR this afternoon. Hope you got to photograph it.

Nice capture! The last artist I saw waiting for customers at a street fair was doing a mean job of knitting a sweater...a woman of many talents!
