SKY WATCH FRIDAY - What To Do When You Miss Your Flight? Hitchhike!

These firemen from Station Number One in downtown Birmingham, were giving some visiting firefighters a bird's eye view of our city.  I was photographing them when the jet flew by.  Right place, right time!

Click on Tom's link on the sidebar to see all of the Skywatch Friday participants.

I've got birds in Avignon today, so in a way almost in the sky.

Don't you just love it when perfection happens? We will be going through Alabama in a few weeks. You have beautiful skies.

Thanks for your visiting on my SWF.

Unfortunately Tom is on bed rest today and for the first time you are stuck with me. I have my orders to visit as many as I can, and make sure the links are working and everyone is being good. I am sure you are all being good.
Tom and I thank you for Sky-Watching this week. I am sure that as soon as Tom's heart beat settles down he will be back here and visiting.

Fabulous skywatch. I enjoyed your witty title too on this.

(Re Birmingham England. I am trying to contact the daily blogger there, but no luck at the moment. I may have some old ones somewhere for you, or grab a friend from over there to help out. Hopefully I will get some to you next week. My laptop has been a mare and hotmail down here so I've had to post messgae here.)

I'd much rather be where you were than where they were!

Two things: Starting the grammar blog when I get back from MSU. . . .I'll keep in touch.

Also, re: the dorm. . . .I don't stay in the dorm. I have a long story about that and will email you privately. Let's just say I tried last semester and lasted 5 minutes. I know it sounds pretty snobby of me, but the place made filth look like a good alternative.

Right place, right time indeed. Well done. You couldn't have planned it better.

Aren't they supposed to lower him a rope or something? That's one way to get around checking a bag...
