Capture France Through YOUR Lens!

Musée Carnavalet, Paris

Pardon my shameless self-promotion today, but I have some very exciting news to share. You are invited to join me in Fontaine-Fourches, France this summer for a two week photography/ journaling workshop!    Kippy Hammond and Jerome Henriquez, will open their lovely home,  La Bonne Etoile, in the French countryside to us.  Well known for their artists' retreats, they do an exceptional job as hosts and tour guides.  They have planned many wonderful side trips to the region of Champagne and Bourgogne,  which will offer us a multitude of photo opportunities.  During the two weeks I will be sharing ways to take and edit photographs that you will be proud to take home and share with your family and friends. We will work together to publish a group and individual books that you will receive upon your return home. As a grand finale,  how does 3 days and 2 nights in Paris sound?  The only experience necessary is working knowledge of your digital camera!  Please click here to get more information regarding the workshop. You may also contact me by email if you have further questions. I hope to see some of you this summer,  as we chronicle our trip through the French countryside and Paris together.

Oh, I would LOVE to go, but I'll be in the US all summer....given what happened to our family this past year, I can't put off that trip, but I will be with you in more than spirit!!!!

Your trip sounds spectacular. I got a kick out of the fact that the Diner is being moved to your neck of the woods from NYC. It would be great if Ken could get down to "shoot" it with you.

Super ! Tu vas bien t’amuser. Cette région est très belle avec beaucoup de nature. En plus, tu n'es pas trop loin de Paris.

Ca me manque la France, mais la vie est quand même bien ici à Jackson aussi !

AH,
Would love to have you along as my side kick. We could have some fun.

We'll chat

Sharon, I am trying to persuade KM to come on down here for the arrival of the Cheyenne. I am trying to locate the new owner here if anyone in B'ham knows him!

Peter,
Oh yes of course! I emailed you about an idea.

Bibi, Of course you must visit here this summer. I hope it will be a healing time for you. Let me know where you will be.

Halcyon,
I'm working my way through your comment. I am trying not to cave and use the translator! HA

Tom,
It's so good to see your comments here again. Glad you are back with all of us. I promise to do Skywatch again soon.

Alice,
HA, not really but it is exciting. I have to pinch myself!

Congratulations, you lucky lady. Summer in the French countryside. I guess I'll have to go to some howling desert somewhere in response. This picture is exceptionally well composed. You have a strong visual hook with solid content behind it.

M-N, if it all works out, I will come home for 3 weeks and then return. C'est la vie!!! :} PS If you know of a really really inexpensive place in Paris I could rent, I might be able to just stay and eat baguettes and vin for 3 weeks!HA Oh and français tonight was good. I did not get thrown out but was reprimanded for talking once ( or maybe it was twice). Can you fathom that?!

Angela
Fontaine-Fourches is 60 miles SE of Paris.

W, I hate you won't be able to heckle me for 2 solid weeks.

KM, Does hmmmm mean you are interested? Now THAT would be a blast.
