Zig Zag

The bright red railings caught my eye as I drove by on Highway 31 in Homewood.  You guessed it, I had to go back that afternoon and snap a few.  The shadows were the grand surprise!

Love this one, Virginia, but i'm sure you are not surprised...;-)
About my post yesterday, yes, it was a bit far-fetched, this story about "sweet love tea" and "detox tea"...
Have a nice week end, I'll come back tomorrow to have a stroll on your path!

Also, haven't forgotten your email request--just little time to sit and choose, but will do on the weekend!!

There are so many reasons I will never be a photographer. For example, it would never occur to me to look for something like this. Oh well, always learning. I think I need your class. Or Paris. Or both.

Yes, you're right, Virginia, l'amour, toujours l'amour!

Who else would make a special trip to photograph a railing?

That is one skookum looking railing by the way.

This is such a fantastic image, Virginia. I love those crisp shadow patterns alongside the bright red railing that is casting them. Well seen, and thanks for bringing the vision to us!

Oooo BTW.....checking your new Headline Banner I have to admit that perhaps our Birmingham might not match yours.....now V, is it really B. Ala?

This is brilliant, V. You have such a gift, girl!

Skookum??? And you Canadians think southerners "talk funny"!

When the coffers get low, the photographer has to step it up a notch, hence red railings get a second drive by!

Alice, I'll have a pot of that "sweet love" tea, but the Detox sounds scary. I don't think I want to know how it works! So I get an A on that super easy translation? Merci.

The shadow transforms this otherwise very nice photo into a stunner!

"roon,
It sure is good ole Birmingham, Alabama. Now do you want to have a slice of "humble pie" and work on your apology???HA
