A few more of the nice folks I've met while trying to gather 100 strangers' photographs around town. For privacy reasons, I have chosen not to use the names for my portraits.
Could be the cave drawings. He is a typical artist is all I'll say. No I'll look into the distance. Those kids just made me think of the word "Future." I will have to play catch up with the images. Had some time out hence the absence.
B, Actually there was method to my madness today. I paired my artist with these boys because he spends much of his time woking with inner city kids and a project in rural Alabama with impoverished youth. I hope to get to his studio soon and take some photos of him with the kids. V
You are so good at taking people shots! Both of these are great. I still have trouble pointing my camera in someone's face. I always think they will not like it.
You guys are so kind. YOU give me the courage to keep at it. I have been slack lately and need to get out there and take some new ones. The boys were downtown walking alone one Sat. afternoon. I just love their faces too.

deux beaux portraits, avec une préférence pour les deux garçons.
two nice portraits, with a priority for both boys.
Lovely photos. I like the spontaneous second one. I like the artist's work---reminds me of the Lascaux caves!

Well, I think that artist is a handsome devil. good for him, and would like to see more of his work.

I'm with Maya and Angela. Your bravery is producing marvelous results. Must get my courage up and give it a try.
They look comfortable having their "pctures made", V. Set up your studio, they will come.
If you start a workshop about portraits, I'll jump in my car and be there in a few hours!!! ;~))
What warm smiles ... the children are priceless! Lovely work, Virginia.

I love these stranger photos, especially the one of the artist and his work. He looks very comfortable in front of your lens.
