Blue Switch

This cool blue switch can be found at Sloss Furnaces.  I 've shown you other photos from that shoot here, here and here.  My consultants Bill and Wayne, THINK it's a switch that has PROBABLY been disconnected and covered over. There you go!  I just like the color combo.

I like it, too. Southwestern colors!

Italian colours too!!
I have been away for a few days but have come back also to say that your banner is a great eye towards Spring (we are all waiting for over here!), and to say that the series of lamps is wonderful. My very favourite photo, though,is the chair with the sunlight streaming through! Wonderful photos, V!!

Beautiful series of lamps and lights this weekend, Virginia! Back to work today, it's Monday, but with this nice blue touch, it's easier!

It must have been a really important switch to be so well cared for!
A factory siren switch of some sort.

Olivier, I see you are making me practice my French by not including the translation. I think I got it today, merci!!

Jeurgen, M-N, Diederick, and Bibi, I see you all have your own take on the colors today and I think you are all correct!HA

Therese, your idea could be correct!

Alice, I have French in Your Car tapes now so I can practice on the road! Maybe it will help me. Je ne sais pas! My thanks to Harriet, one of my faithful readers, who suggested the tapes for me.

Even if it's not working, at least well painted!

One Switch Two Switch Red Switch Blue Switch.

OK, so I ripped off a Dr. Seuss rhyme. Hey, it's what popped into my head.

I love the color combination. I am using similar colors in my home and artwork right now. Are the hyacinths in bloom right now? I am just now seeing flower buds on my hellebores.

Hey, I know that switch. Don't know what it does/did, but it caught my eye and camera too. My shot was much harsher sunlight, though.

I really like the detail! Great contrast with the wall!

Eeyore, I just knew you were going to enlighten us as to what the switch was used for!! I took this in the morning last summer when it was about 100 degrees out!

Wildeve, I took the banner photo last week. The Lenten Roses are everywhere and will be the star here on Wed. Daffodils are spectacular now as well. B'ham in the spring is GORGEOUS!

DL, Love Dr. Seuss and your take on him. Got some bread in the oven today?

Peter, It is a nice paint job, I agree!

JM, These colors remind me of your beautiful city!

Vig...I don' t get to "weigh-in" on a regular basis like your other pals, but I just have to say that the last 2 days worth of photos are some of your best. You are a genius with color and composition...I would love to see some of these blown up on large canvases...guess that's the decorator in me coming out! Thanks for offering us such stimulating shots...

AH,
Yeah I"ve let those two get me all "industrial"!!! HA I won't stay this way long. "Prissy" always wins out!

I like the southwestern flavor here - maybe they're going to convert the furnaces to a habanero pepper roasting facility?

That shade does draw the eye...

Did Dusty Lens see this? You two were a matching industrial pair on about the same day. Excellent color combo.
