One Golden Leaf

I always keep my eyes open when I take my walk.  You just never know what you'll find.  This was taken a few months ago. A nice change of pace for today I think.  Enjoy.

How about a little warning the next time you decide to change the banner V?

I almost fell out of my chair.

That's what keeps you on your toes, W. Remember that.

Gosh! What a banner. Fabulous, Virginia. Now that is noticeable...

Beautiful golden leaf too. You are right, you never know what you will find and never go anywhere without your camera!

Update on Postcards today...

You're right about keeping your eyes open. I've missed lots of opportunities when day dreaming.

I'm in love with this beautiful composition of form and color! Well seen, and couldn't be better if you'd painted it yourself.

I got a kick out of Wayne's reaction to your new header photo. On our toes is right!

The banner is certainly captivating!

Your photo was take a few months ago. Would you not be able to find a "forgotten" leaf also today? Anyhow, the photo is really, really nice!

Very pretty! Nice composition!

Peter, Not a golden one this lovely. Only nice brown ones that are in plentiful supply. I plan on taking my camera for some more "walking" shots. It's still glorious regardless of the colors when the sun shines through the tall trees.

MST, thanks for your visit to my blog.

No get rid of the banner. It creeps me out. I am phobic of clowns too. So is Johnny Depp. I am not at all phobic of him..... Ooh yes why I'm here the photo. Ah bless you 'tis an image I look for when out an about. Autumn colours are the best. It is what I said before, the colour that is most alive is the one that is dead. Now this is serene and the tiny pool of light is a bonus. You will be a good teacher.

B, You will have to live with the banner. It is NOT a clown, it's a mask. It will help you work through this. Glad you like the archived photo. Oh, and as far as I can tell, Johnny Depp has not been here even ONCE! ha

It looks like an amphi full of students listening to a guest teacher.

Keeping your eyes open is the best habit a photographer can develop. You have real sparkle in this one with the little patch of sunlight as a counterbalance to the lonely yellow-green leaf. More good work.

I like this very very much. I like the banner very very much. I wish you had two banners so I could see the red lanterns I like very very much.

A star is born. I must go back to autumn photos. I am tired of snow.

Virginia said...

DL, If I lived in the North Pole with you, I would have been tired of snow months ago. Geeezzzz, enough is enough right???

Okay, I keep coming back to this shot. I need a print. Please tell me how I may get one. Thanks!
