SHADOW SERIES III
Look familiar? Of course it does. This is my friend
Kevin Irwin's studio. We've been
here and
here many times, but today it's all about her beautiful work and the play of shadows on them. The top figures are some of her fanciful clay pieces, and the bottom photo gives you a glimpse of the delicate colored glass jewelry and other baubles she creates. They were sparkling in the afternoon sunlight.
I'll bet you think this is it for photos from her studio. Nope!

I'm enjoying your shadow series! So many different kinds of shadows!
Beautiful series of shadows!
Oh man, I wonder how she made that tree...
Good idea for a series. I love these bracelets!
AH,
Fly on down here and I'll make sure you get to see Kevin in action! And I guess you need to bring that bowl making Phoebe with you too, since she's got the talent in the family!
Very cool, love the clay tree.
Those colorful glass bubbles look tempting!!!
It looks as if magic amulets have cast across the forest floor.
These are awesome art pieces.
I especially love the tree structure above.
That's a very unique shadow of a tree. Kevin is sooooo talented.
Ahhh, light makes such a difference doesn't it? Beautiful shadow shots!
Great shots Virginia...
Clever using the the many coloured glass to create grey shadows. My friends mother makes trinkets out of this stuff and this reminds me of her work space.
