Shadow Series IV - At the Gardens

SHADOW SERIES IV

The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is lovely every month of the year.  I especially like to stop by late in the afternoon when the setting sun casts that special light.  See for yourself.

Well my goodness, the Table /Chair series continues and today my dear, sweet friend Bibi in Belgrade has added a grand addition to the series. Thank you Bibi!!!

I enjoy so much this series! And Bibi's photo is just great too.
Could the clematis on your header be a "Madame Lecoutre"?

Oh, the first one is so charming, Virginia.
Absolute geometry of the iron gate and the easiness of flora - great!

Great light casting and I love the clematis on your header.

Jumping from light to shadows alternatly: beautiful picture.
Great addition by Bibi!
P.S. You had put a comment Virginia but Intermezzo blocks the comments from Friday to Sunday to let evryone say something without seing other ones' comments... Kind of a game for the mind.

I think you started something interesting with the Tables and chairs series...

The shadows studies continue and are delightful!

Shadows are nice when pictured like this! Perhaps even nicer and more welcome in a couple of weeks! A little bit of fresh champagne under a tree?

Glad you all enjoyed Bibi's nice addition. AH, I'll have to think about that book. Could be fun!

WIldeve, I hope you'll visit !!!

Marley,
Love the new shot of you!

Peter,
Get it chillin'!!!!

Thérèrse,
Got it. I never dreamed that was a plastic bag!!! Amazing.

Olivier,
Hope to see you in Paris and we can discuss ( with Peter's help) how I did it! HA

Thanks everyone for your comments and your visits.

Very lovely. I like to see flower planters tucked away into out of the way spaces to add color and life to otherwise dreary spots. The iron gate adds a nice strong counterpoint to the softness of the flowers.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great week.

the gentle light is so soothing...and reflective.

V, the Cheyenne is still here..all enclosed in green fence. Wonder what's up?

Hi, V. Just to say I've enjoyed my drop-in on the shadows series.

Things are a bit busy these days, so you'll have noticed a shortage of RuT output.

Bestest.....as ever. 'roony.

The dappling on the orb, in the enlargement, is pretty darn cool.

AH ! Virginia ! Would you like I send to you a picture of a French garden table (or maybe a chair) in the shadow ?
:)
