Perfect! We just had dinner with a cousin of Janet's who actually fullfilled most boy's dreams of working on trains. I think Davis would have liked to tag along with him to work!
That could have been me years ago... there were train lines behind our house when I was a child.. steam back then I after confess.. ha!.. This is a stunning picture with shadows and all... I hope this finds you well
Casey Jones I do believe. Ever since moving and still images could be captured there has been a fascination with choo choo trains. Lovely wistful image.
Virgin Media and I are negotiating terms. So far they have turned down my offer to be paid in Pringles for my image.
Another great capture. Years ago I was in Beijin and I was captured by a little boy that was giving his hand to his dad (I presume) while they were walking. By a small wall quite large and tall like the boy (more or less) the boy obsinately wanted to go to walk over it. I presume is the same reason that trains enraptures boys.
What make boys ad girls absolutely the same all over the world it's what it grants us that the world continue to go on in the right direction.

I wish I knew. My grandson is totally enamored by them.
What goes into his head? I wish I could remember what I thought when I was looking at passing trains.
What a fantastic shot, Virginia. A framer.

My blogs today show a Gypsy Waggon and a Weather Vane
Great photo, perfect for B&W. I think we boys like the idea of being a train driver, in charge of the train and all that power!

I was always fascinated by trains, too. Still am, in fact. I think it's such a shame we traded rail travel for Interstates back in the 50s and 60s...
This is a lovely shot, V. The B&W is perfect for it!
Touching! Thanks
