The Grass is Always Greener

at the garden shop. Oak Street Garden Shop. These flats of fresh green grass were for sale yesterday. I'm not sure what exactly I'd do with them. Maybe I'll go back and ask Billy on Monday. ( I think it's a "spring thing"!)

And here I thought you were lying down on the sidewalk, shooting newly-mown grass.... This would have been good for the "Tribute to Eric" day on March 11th.

I am happy to see GREEN! Or anything not black, gray, or shades of brown. I have bright colors on my blog today, but I wasn't outdoors....:(

I know what I'd do with them. I'd set them beside my bed where I'm spending endless hours these days and smell them, and stare at them, and run my hands through them, and maybe even rest my cheek in them. Thank you for posting this!

I like this a lot. It shows real creative vision. The picture plays with your eyes. Sure, you would guess it is grass but how would someone get that angle? I'd never guess garden shop.

Nice .. and I assume that you buy flats and put them in a garden plot or your own window box where you can mow it with a mini mower

Really a cool shot, V. But it looks more like onion stalks than grass to me.

Such perfection reminds me of Parisian trees.

It reminds me of a time when we all though pureed wheat grass was the elixer of life. And I swallowed it.

I love it, V. It's like a prayer for Spring, a perfect photo. I like the hands in the crate too - well, I just like your work.

Hker,
PUREED WHEAT GRASS? Well that's a new one. I"ll stick to bourbon.

Paula,
Isn't it a great thought, right here during Lent? :)

Indeed, you are better off with the bourbon...
OTOH,
One taste of the puréed wheat grass and you'll head straight to the bourbon...

V, I want to set my Easter eggs in it and use it for a table decoration....I don't know where to find a flat like that here. I'd love it. Great pic - only you would think of it!

My sister in law once had some grass in her 'jardinières' on her balcony on the 4th floor of rue St Sulpice, Paris, and she used her home scissors to cut it. It looked just like this! Her little green spot in the city!!! :-)
