Snow Capped II

The Lenten Rose post yesterday was a cruel joke I fear, because today, we're right back to the snow photos.

As many of you know, I am presently teaching a photography class. I pleased to be featuring some of my talented students' work right here. Today, Tom Cronier's grand view of the historic Alabama Theatre in the midst of last week's snowstorm. Tom is an terrific volunteer at the Alabama, so he didn't mind a bit braving the cold for this shot! ( He also thought it would earn him some brownie points with the teacher.......it did! )

You're teaching a ladyshutterbug class? Sprinkle some tips around here. At least one dog reader could use them.

That's a nice snow cover tree. You're area is great for snow pics.

Oh....more snow...and way down there! What are we in for now? Our snow has melted, but...

Good for you and your photography class!

My word verification is 'purti' and mighty 'purti' are these photos.

I believe next year I'm gonna shoot that groundhog. I'm ready for spring. Great shots, yours and Tom's.

Just for the record, these photos are from last week's snow. Thankfully we've not had more. I just have a stash and you're going to have to look at them all! :)

Oh, I wish I were in your class; then I say things like image and aperture.

Wow, you can see the wind in this last picture.

Tom's photo is perfection .. bare trees, snow and a slightly out of focus sign .. works for me!

Both of these shots are amazing! What makes them even more so is that you both managed to capture the snow falling too. Wow.
