It's hot down here. So hot that now we're even kicking off our flip flops!
Today meet Peanut. If you're lucky, you will find her at the Pepper Place Market some Saturday. This day, I caught her with her flip flops tossed aside. Doesn't she have a great smile? Oh and she can sing too!!!
I'm glad someone else gave Peanut some exposure! That young lady can sing! I listened to her one Saturday a while back and was amazed at her voice. I shot a short video of her with my iPhone but haven't had a chance to get back to Pepper Place since. I need to so I can do a better video of her than what I wound up with. Of course, her singing one of my favorites helped too. Otis Redding.
I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.

It sounds like fun and useful to be Flip flops tossing to the sound of music!

I'm looking at my favorites page with Jilly's Monte Carlo post of Saturday on the right of my own and yours to the right. Um, sort of a spectrum.
Beautiful smile.
And its hot here also.
Costas
I knew that foot/carpet even before I scrolled to see her face ... and I have her scheduled to post tomorrow!
I've had to kick off my shoes a time or two in these parts too! Though, I'm sure it is not as hot as it is there...
