The Jordan Home

This beautifully restored neo-classical home was built in 1908 by Dr. Mortimer Jordan.   Located on Highland Avenue, it was one of the stops we made when I showed my NYC blog friend Daryl, around town last June.

This could easily be Paris!
I've decided to join you,I know almost nothing of Birmingham Alabama.
Hope the hurricanes and earthquakes are staying well away from you!

It's Bob. Hi from Jilly's house. We tried to call you on Skype but you weren't at the computer (there is other life). Menton has famous gardens - we haven't been to any of them yet - but they couldn't be more beautiful than this. Hot here! You'd feel right at home.

It's really me this time. Beautiful statuary in this garden. Love the fountain and those wonderful old trees.

It's been 100+ here...I'd love to lie down in that fountain and smell the flowers.
