I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

Oh that light and shadow! Enchanting. This is such a good photo, Virginia. It absolutely sums up childhood innocence and spring time.
Great shot. Looks like a detail of a painting made by Manet.
Lisa from Oahu also has a sweet photo of two little girls.
how well you capture the delicious freshness of youth.
Smocked dresses and spring, such sweetness.
Happy Easter V!
Saw two little girls doing just this today.
What a lovely shot...I can see this on a Happy Easter card or a Happy Spring card...
love this one
How come they were wearing such lovely dresses? A special occasion?
I usually don't think of American children wearing such dresses. Just lovely.
