It's About Time!

Bob Crowe's St. Louis Daily Photo blog caught my eye shortly after I started this blog.  Through the years he's given advice, support and become a dear friend.  This weekend we FINALLY met in person.  Bob and his delightful wife Carolyn flew to Birmingham and we have had a marvelous time together. You don't even want to know how many photos we taken and we still have today left...Color Run, Sloss Furnaces and BBQ!!!  Yesterday we did the Children's Hospital, downtown B'ham and the Civil Rights Institute.  We polished off the day with dinner am my house with a few friends.

Virginia what a great portrait of Bob. I can't believe you two hadn't met in person yet after all this time. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Love your portrait of Bob. You've captured so well his humour, his kindness, his intelligence. I envy you meeting up with Bob and Carolyn and have such happy memories of the time they were here in Menton. Enjoy! And I so agree with your words. Bob is so wonderfully generous in his advice.

A great portrait, V. My guess is that you have truly captured his personality and genuine spirit. Have fun today!

I hope Carolyn's a photographer! Either that, or my bet is she's very patient. Or she reads a lot.

All kidding aside, I'm glad you're all having a good time.
