Meet Coosa. Coosa's previous owner threw her overboard into the Coosa River with a badly broken leg, infected ear and malnourished. Thankfully someone saw it happen and rescued her. This precious one year old Golden Retriever is now in a loving foster home waiting to find her forever home. Her leg is on the mend and from our photo shoot yesterday, I can promise you she is friendly, loving and her foster mom says she doesn't bark, has adjusted to their two dogs and is a happy girl. Look at that face, get in touch with
Adopt a Golden Birmingham if you can offer her a good home!

Such a sweetheart!!! Some people ought to have to receive the same treatment they dish out to dogs and kids....
The cruelty of some people is beyond me. But the goodness of others counters it.
Good luck, doggie.
She is beautiful!
We could have adopted her straight away. The only problem is that we live in Norway!
i'm certain this photogenic sweetheart will find a very loving home.
i just cannot fathom how cruel people can be
What a shock. Lovely photo. I hope she will soon be in a wonderful, loving home that she deserves.
I hope someone who reads your blog will adopt this beautiful pup. What a story.
How anyone can do that to an animal is beyond me.
Lovely expression.
Thank you, Virginia. I know Coosa will find a good home, and it will certainly be better than the one she was in before!
Today is the 10th anniversary of the day Boz came to live with us. We love him so.

I will never understand how someone can do such a thing! I hope the previous owners burn in hell! The human species drives me crazy.
