Once Birmingham's first skyscraper, the City Federal Building is now some very nice condos. At least they didn't take the wrecking ball to it. I love it at night!
This is a great reuse of a building that I guess the federal government did not need anymore.
We stayed in the Boston Custom House recently. It is a magnificent old federal building, which has been transformed by Marriott into a unique and superb place to stay.
