Opened in 1935, it now houses the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame. In the beginning it was the only place in Birmingham that blacks could see first run movies. How great that it has been preserved.
For some reason I'm very attracted to the mix of fonts - the big one rather art deco, the other at a script the nun I had in fourth grade would love. It just looks cool.
