Making Friends

Saturday I went to the big spring opening of the Pepper Place Market. I walked up on this enormous, friendly Alaskan Malamute and his adorable admirer. Normally I would have chosen just one, but I love the series as they became friends!

at the Pepper Place Market yesterday!  It was a great opening day for the Spring Market. Lots of people and a whole lot of canines!  BTW, these two just happen to be my downstairs neighbors, so of course they got top billing!

Dog Days of Summer 2011 - Chase

Meet Chase.  Chase is my friend Beff's new love.  Just a few months ago he was a chubby little puppy with very big paws chewing everything sight.  Now he's a big boy but is still chewing everything in sight from what I hear.  He posed for me at Pepper Place last Saturday.....but not for long!

Chick Magnet

This guy was carrying around this precious pup at the Pepper Place a few weeks ago. I told him I thought he'd borrowed that dog to pick up chicks.  He laughed a bit sheepishly and admitted that it was his friend's dog. BUSTED!

The strawberries at the Pepper Place Market were in big, fat and juicy last Saturday.  WHO could resist them???  I had déjà vu all over again!

CDP Theme Day - Favorite Part of Town

If you have followed this blog for very long, you will have already guessed my favorite part of town...the Pepper Place Market of course!  I have more fun photographing here than almost anywhere else in Birmingham.   I'm thrilled that it will reopen the middle of April and go full swing until December. Deck the Dogs.......

Last Saturday's  Pepper Place Holiday Market was just great fun.  I think I may have photographed one of these adorable dogs before, wearing a PPM ballcap,  but Saturday they just made me laugh out loud!  Santa Paws!!!

( How on earth did the owners get these two to keep these silly things on???)
