The Chinese New Year Festival Continues....

Drummer Boy

The entertainment was wonderful.  I will confess I might have missed the best photo of the day.  I was in the very back of the auditorium working when the Chinese Elvis impersonator sang  one of Elvis' songs that was just great!  Now that was a missed opportunity for sure!   Stay tuned, there will be another day of photos from this event shortly.

These really are splendid. The motion of the second, but the color and the pose of the drummer boy is just wonderful.

Nous avons de la neige ici,j'espere que ce n'est pas le cas a Birmingham sinon le cours de Français va etre annulé!
(We have snow here,I hope it is not the case in B. ,otherwise the French class will be canceled!).

The picture of the old Lady with the flag and that little cutie are the best photos of the day!
Bonne soiree Virginia.

M-N,
La neige a Birmingham? Non!!! :)

This was a fun event to photograph. So much red on my posts this week. Maybe B's right, I am drawn to it and didn't realize it. Thanks everyone!!

Tomorrow? A big change of pace for a day or two perhaps.

Gosh I'm late. Another beautiful series. Love the action swirl in the top shot and the concentration(or even consternation) of the lady. You are banned from taking kiddiwink images now, you are nailing those to well- we need to challenge you.

I am learning French as I type via headphone. Interesting!

This is why I need a better camera. Mine just wouldn't even come close to this quality. Just fab, and I am SO SORRY you missed The Kang. '~(

PJ, don't fret over your camera. I used "automatic" and the dumb pop up flash some and you can tell which ones for sure. Why don't you take a little road trip up here and we'll have a go at it together? I am trying to figure out who I know with a condo near you!

B,
I'm in business in France if anyone needs to know how to count to 100 or tell time to the half hour! Oh and I can order a glass or trois .... of champagne like I was born there! ha

Nice stuff. I really, really like the first one. The red-green with tan accents is super. That tilt of the head and the eyeglasses are a special touch.

Oh, and I can je voudrais une verre du vin rouge with the best of them. Or is it the worst of them?

V, I tried several times last night to comment and couldn't do it. Must've been doing something wrong. Love this series - my favorite is the little girl here - she's cute as a button! Great work!
