The Bottle Tree on Birmingham's southside is just a great fun and funky place to have a drink, some good food and hear live entertainment. Chef Tom Bagby is a dear family friend, and he's known for his killer pimento cheese, as well as some delectable sounding vegetarian dishes, which I regret to report I've not tried. It's also a photographer's paradise, and there will be more photos in days to come. Don't you just love this table and chairs???

What a fun, colorful table! Nice photo.
Beautiful table but how did you escape that Killer Cheese? Have the police found it yet?
Great composition! Love the colours... and the
Tabasco(?)! :-)
JM,
The Tabasco is a staple in most places around here!HA
B2,
I've had the pimento cheese believe me and it's very good! I ihave not ventured into the vegetarian side of the menu yet but I will one day!
I love the light again, and Tabasco, but my favorite is your new banner! Je craque!
Gorgeous. The color and composition make me thing of Supremacist paintings.
By the way, I've been meaning to mention that you certainly have the cutest lineup of grandchildren in Dixie.
De light, de light so delightful - what an eye you have.
xx,
M
such gorgeous light
Far out!
Great photo. Love the colours and light and shadow. But you know that already!
I like! Looks warm and inviting and bright and cheery!
Oh, I understand now, Miss Virginia!
Y'all over there in the South (of France) gotta understand we bak here out yunder on de left edge or bank, well, sum of us our 1st language is Bark. And, our canine diet is often just french macaroons & croissants. So, ya see tat's how it's so ez for you southerners to get us dogs mixed up.
Luv that table, Miss Virgina 2009.
hmmm....
Mme la Vache found this bottle tree...
CO,
i regret that I was never Miss Alabama or Miss Virginia.....sigh. I think the bathing suit competition probably kept me out of the running , and still does!!
V
I am ready to see the table spin...
P.S. This = ceci or ça.
"De rien mon amie"
I would like to have a table like this one ;)
I love the retro colors.
And of course, the hot sauce. It's funny that no matter what cuisine a restaurant in the south serves, there's probably hot sauce on the table. If not, you can ask for it and you'll receive.
One more great place where we can hang out! Right, V?
I love the shapes and colors in this!
So colorful, love the bottle tree. I wish to post some table/chair sets as a return favor. But then I onder if they will be up to par with your shots.
Fire Light, Oh you'll love this place for sure. It's just a hoot. We''ll do it when I get back home.

PLEASE bring on the table /chairs. I would be honored.

What a truely fantastic shot... love the colours, shadows and lines.... there is so much going on yet it is far from fussy... I really like this one.
