The Garden Nymph

Sometimes you don't have to look far for an image. Last week all I had to do was stroll out on my friend Susan's terrace with a glass of wine and voilà! There she was hanging on the wall, with tendrils of greenery framing her sweet face. She reminded me of some lovely sculpture found on many buildings in Paris that I've featured today on Paris Through My Lens.

How lovely and so perfect with your choice for Paris today. A charming young girl in black and white. I love garden sculpture that really becomes part of the garden as the vegetation grows in and around it.

She's beautiful, and the paleness you chose to portray here fits well.

Check my blog today to see van Gogh's terrace....sort of a garden!

She's so lovely and fay. I bet she draws good (and playful) spirits to your friend's garden.

That is too cool for words. B&W was the right choice. I really like how the ornate figure seems to burst out of the blank background.

Absolutely lovely! Now I'm going to open a bottle and travel to 'your' Paris! :-)

SPECTACULAR, just SPECTACULAR.
You rightly watermarked that photo - I can see how tempting it would be to steal it.
