Keera sporting her PPM cap!
Today, a little preview. I've been secretly stashing PPDs (Pepper Place Dogs) for the past two years, so I thought I'd let these cute pooches be the stars today. For you Alabama readers, the market is on 2nd Avenue South and open every Saturday from 7:00am - 12:00. Come and support our Alabama farmers and craftsmen, see cooking and gardening demonstrations, listen to some terrific Alabama musicans and eat some good food!
Elvis brought his human along.
What can I say, Teddy's all ears.

Aw...Bibi thinks they're all cute. Any boys who are not spoken for? :)
Beautiful shots, portraits of models and dogs!:-)
Lovely dogs! Great!
Beautiful shots! A good idea...I have not done a series of dogs. Can't wait for our market to open, but it won't be for awhile up here.
That first one looks like someone I know...I'd love to see the person who put that hat on her head.
And a handsom lot they are, too. I knew Elvis was alive.
Unique Virginia! Keera seems to be begging for something...
Thanks for letting the dogs out.
I love these pups ...
Nice of you to let them out of the kennel -:)
Love these shots, Virginia, especially that first one. What a beauty Keera is. Love the all!
keera's a sweetie!
Cute dog photos even though I'm not much of a dog fan personally. However, my "Eagan Dog series" seems to be popular on my CDP blog.
Bon weekend mon amie
But, but KM,,,,,I thought I was your sweetie! :(
Cute!! I think you are in for a wonderful weekend. =)
Aww, love that first face.
Such catching expressions. You did a great job there, Virginia!!
Oh they are all so cute! My folks first dog was like Teddy. I am sorry we never met.
Just love Pepper Place. Have written an article about it on Squidoo. If you care to visit find it here: Pepper Place Saturday Market in Birmingham. My photos were taken with an iPhone, so they are not nearly as wonderful as yours.
Mickie,
Great article and your photos are as well. I often wonder why I lug my big camera around when folks are taking such good photos with a phone!!!

PS I cracked up at your remark about keeping the kids on a short leash. Well that's the truth!
We have a chihuahua next door named Elvis too! Funny how these little dogs have such big shoes to fill!
