Believe It or Not

We are in the home stretch till Halloween, but here in B'ham, the kiddos ( and a few adults) are still dipping their toes in the clean and inviting streams and ponds at Birmingham's new Railroad Park.  I don't blame them. The water features here are well planned, bio filltered and just too inviting to pass up.  Come on in, the water's still fine in Alabama !

Oh, brrrrr. To do such a thing right now in Vermont would lead to instant frozen toes!

We may get snow up here this weekend.

We're still having summer-ish days but I'd pass on this spot. I'm an urban weenie and I don't like mud. If I wanted mud I'd go swimming in the Mississippi.

Not too bad here yet. Toes only, for sure, however! Great fun in this photo. Do I detect the toes of a grandchild?

Even down here near Mobile, it's a little chilly in the mornings, but it warms up enough for toe-dipping in the afternoons!

I like your new header, too!

Hiker's pulling your leg. But it's not sunny anymore. Is it really that warm where you are?

You know me, I'd like to get me some of that.
