Let me get this right. It's freezing cold. Literally. Still these guys are running in shorts and no shirts. But their hands are so cold they have to put on gloves? What am I missing here?
My son has run the Chicago marathon twice. I find it amazing that anyone who is not a religious aesthetic would feel the need to punish themselves so severely.

One has to admire marathoners, not just for their athleticism, but especially for their determination.
