Arlington Antebellum Home and Gardens was built in 1850 by one of Birmingham's founding fathers, William S. Mudd. A fine example of Greek Revival architecture, it has been preserved and is the site of many events here in Birmingham. I took this shot after the gates were closed last Sunday evening while riding the streets of Birmingham with Josh Hailey and his friends Jamie and Clay. Josh is visiting all 50 states in 50 weeks for his

It is really great that you get to hang out with Josh Hailey, his project is really wonderful. My dad used to own one of these in Bayou La Batre.

V, do you remember 'North and South', a mini-series from the 80's? This house reminds me of Kristie Alleys' home. The only thing missing here is the Spanish Moss. :-)
