Covered Up

View from my balcony

This has been a challenging weather month for those of us in Birmingham ( remember, we're in the Deep South).  We're not all that comfortable with ice and snow.  Last week, Mother Nature DUMPED a lot of snow on us within a few hours and that left our fair city in a horrendous mess.  This week, we've had ice/snow scares all week, which after last week's surprise made us all more than a little careful. Bottom line, we have waited and waited, but got some lovely, fluffy stuff late this afternoon. I'd say about 3 inches at my home. Enjoy!

You're brave. I haven't ventured out yet this morning to take any photographs of the snow.

I wondered how you were faring. I must say, snow sure does make things pretty.

It looks beautiful but is difficult to manage when you aren't accustomed to it. I hope it all melts away quickly!

Beautiful!

We're accustomed to that kind of weather, of course, but down south, I can see how much it wrecks havoc.

Three inches of snow in B'ham is quite a bit. I hope you have kept your power.

So, as we used to say in Noo Yawk, are youse guys freakin' out yet? This must be unprecedented. And I can't remember a winter in STL when we've had so many days of snow cover.
