Yesterday I FINALLY visited Kathy Whitfield's beautiful garden for photographs. She's known around Birmingham and Dahlia Society circles as "The Dahlia Lady". She most certainly is! She assured me that in a few weeks there would be more and I was welcome to come back. You can take that to the bank.

Aren't they AMAZING ?? !! The precision, the perfection, the origami, honeycomb delicate beauty......
That top one is so perfect it could almost be a computer generated graphic. But nature is never quite perfect and that's a good thing.
