if you grew up when tinsel trees. were in vogue. We never had one, but my best friend Donna's family did, with the very cool light that changed colors!!!
We never had a tinsel tree; but I remember begging for a white flocked tree. One year my parents got one with the rotating color wheel. My response? Meh. Lesson learned: longing can be way more powerful than the reality.
