A Nesting Place

This dear little nest was nestled near the entrance to Petals From the Past's shop. I"m sure it's left over from the spring/summer but a nice reminder even in December.

A New Nest

My friends Caroline and E.T., lost their home to a devastating fire over a year ago.  As friends and neighbors we've watched as their new home has taken shape. Yesterday some of us got a peek ( and a glass or two of wine) at what promises to be a wonderful new home for their family by the end of the summer.   I found this bird's nest in a window. I think it's fitting.

Vacancy

Move in ready except the roof leaks. Take it up with the landlord.

Yesterday it rained, no poured. I spotted this little nest and fully intended for this to be one of my famous "drive by shootings", but unfortunately I had to get out of the car. Luckily my first shot worked, because I got drops all over the lens and the rest were toast.
