Two Friends And A Book

A sweet, quiet moment in this kindergarten class at Independent Presbyterian Day School yesterday. I love my time there.

Back To School - I Can Read!!!

Vestavia Elementary West

This might just be a little mini-series as I share some photos from schools around town that I have had the pleasure to photograph. I taught 3rd grade for 19 years and retired in 2008.  Some things, like today's photo, never change.  A child discovering the wonder of reading. Makes my heart sing.

I will be sharing other new and innovative things happening around schools in days to come. The times, they are a changing!

Library Fun

Yesterday I stopped by the Homewood Public Library and took a spin through the children's room , and look who I found reading a good book!
