Birmingham Rouge - At Christopher Glenn

Christopher Glenn Antiques, Garden and Giving in Homewood is a favorite spot to take a few photographs.  Out in the back, where you can find lovely urns, fountains, and statuary, you'll also find this lovely red wall and vintage iron gate.

A Stroll Beside the Tracks

While visiting Studio by the Tracks last spring, we enjoyed a leisurely walk back to my artist friend Kate Merritt Davis' home along the railroad tracks. We commented that this lovely little neighborhood in Irondale has the feel of Small Town, USA. We passed this tin building with the lovely yellow flowers , then this weathered old gate held together with a bungee cord! It was a nice walk indeed.

The Gatekeepers

This beautiful old gate can be found on historic Morris Avenue.  Morris Avenue is noted for it's 19th, early 20th century warehouses. It is on the National Register for Historical Places.
