PORTRAITS FROM MY HEART - My Lindley

This is the last of my Portraits From My Heart series.  I guess it's fitting that the last portrait is of my first grandchild Lindley.  I had the privilege of photographing her very first cry and capturing her daddy's tears as he gazed at his precious daughter for the first time.  She has delighted us with her first giggle, first steps, first words, first loose tooth and hearing her read her first words.  Now she's a big second grader and smarter than her Mumsie!  On second thought, maybe it's not the end of the series.  I might have more to share from time to time.

I have a new blog!  "Paris Through My Lens" - a photo diary of my recent trip to Paris.

Lovely photo.. reminds me of my boys when they used to practically live in the huge maple tree in our front yard.

Love the Paris photos.. I'm getting antsy to go...16 more days.. so near and yet so far..

Kudos, I second that emotion. I wish you would post that picture you took of Jason on the day she was born. That, to me, was the begining of so many things, our life as parents, lindleys as our earthly angel, yours as a grandmother and a photographer! You have many opportunities to catch this one in a tree, any day we let her outside, either in blue jeans or in tafeta dress up clothes, that girl can climb!-kat

aw...congradulations! She's gorgeous!
Is Lindley more of a tomboy? And yet she's wearing a jumper.

She has a lovely smile.

Thank you all or oooing and ahhhing over my "babies". They love seeing themselves on the computer and I love showing them off. Forgive me!

Your grandchildren are so healthy and lively looking, it must make photographing them a great pleasure. And yes, please continue with the series.

Awesome photo, Virginia.

I have been meaning to do more portraits lately but I haven't found a willing model yet.

Ming,
Just turn around and snap some of those girls that are always following you! HA

A real treasure. You can't pout a price on a image like this.

She is precious... I love the expression you caught (as if the camera isn't even there, but you two are having a meaningful exchange), also the wonderful colors and light.
