SKYWATCH FRIDAY- Birmingham Sunset

Well it's time to get back to Birmingham and join up with the Skywatch Friday gang!  I took this photo about a month or so ago.  This is the Birmingham skyline with the Charley Boswell Public Golf Course in the foreground.  This is right in my neighborhood and I love seeing the rolling hills and nicely landscaped course when I pass it a dozen times a day.  I also like that they chose to honor Birmingham's own Charley Boswell, a pro golfer who just happened to be blind and one wonderful man!

To see how all the other SKYWATCH FRIDAY participants captured their little piece of the sky click here.

ANNOUNCING THE BIRTH OF MY NEW BLOG
I plan to post 4 photos a day (maybe) so please stop by from time to time.

Lovely sunset, V. I notice the clear sky. It surely has to be warmer in Birmingham than Paris..

That's pretty interesting, catching the sunset going down the side of the building. I especially like the soft green rolling along in the foreground.

Virginia,
Came to your blog from the Skoog Farm Journal. I'm also a retired teacher (no grandchildren). Love to take photos, but I'm not a photographer.
Was just blown away by your trip to Paris photos.

Thanks for sharing your trip with me.
Tina (just a few miles north of Skoog Farm.

Tina,
Thank you for visiting and leaving your nice comment. I hope you will visit both of my "babies" often. I still have trouble referring to myself as a "photographer". Seems like that term should be reserved for those far more skilled, and who get paid for it!HA

Happily retired,
Aren't we all! AHHHHH. Thanks for stopping by today.

Thanks for the nice comments about my sunset. You know I don't get out and do that enough. I don't do night shots either, but it was great fun in Paris. Maybe I'll venture out in B'ham more now.
