A Walk with Daddy Mac

Top Photo:A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting my friend Jim and two of his grandsons taking a leisurely stroll on the walking trail.  What is it about little boys and big sticks?

Bottom photo: My Eva having a look down the Seine from the Pont Alexander III.
Paris, March 2007

I am in Paris this week.  I am preposting my blog while I am gone.  In addition to the Birmingham photo each day, I am adding a Paris photo from my trip in March, 2007.  I may from time to time post a comment from Paris. Thank you for stopping by.

Hello Virginia !
The first photo is MARVELOUS in B&W...

And it's the little boy who needs a stick to walk ...

Very pretty...

See You later !

The Daddy Mac image is quite delightful, Virginia. Those boys are so lucky that he takes the time to mosey out along with them. As for the stick, its for poking into things and how can you possibly chew grass without a stick to walk with ...

la première photo est très belle, pleine d'émotion, mais j'avoue avoir une préférence pour la petite curieuse ;o)

I caught your blog with its hand in the cookie jar, but I've remedied that. The cookies are now under lock and key. Snack time has been established and there will be no cookies before 12:00 or after 6:00!

Great photos, VJ. That one of your friend and his grandsons is priceless. I cherish photos like that with my grandparents. As for Eva, I love how you captured her perspective. Really charming!

Classics both. The love in the first and the joy and wonderment of "new things" to a child. Hope you are enjoying yourself. Still jealous you are there and I'm not!

Beautiful...I'm sure these little boys will grow up with great memories of their grampy.
Ugh, boys and sticks, don't know what it is, but you never will find my boys without a stick in hand. They are always on the lookout for just the perfect one.

Bonjour everyone! We have walked close to 1,000 miles today and I can still type! Having a wonderful time seeing many, many sites I didn't see last time. Peter definitely has a future in the tour guide field. Probably the most patient man in Paris!! No sun today, gray and overcast but it only really rained a few minutes. Bad hair day for sure. Oh, and photos?? Well I filled up a memory card and ran my battery out. That tell you anything??

1,000 miles isn't far in Paris I've discovered, there's never enough hours in a day!

I'm looking forward to seeing some of those pics!
