A Taste of Vancouver - Table/Chairs Series

Well since yesterday was my 300th Post,  my thoughtful producer/manager Wayne,  (Meandering in Lotus Land),  gave me the day off!  How generous to send me this photograph to add to my Table/Chairs Series.  This is the Liberty Bakery off Main Street in Vancouver, BC.  I love the color of that wall and those vintage chairs paired with that neat tiled table.  Thanks W., there could be a raise in your future.  You know, I could get use to this.  Anyone else care to donate??

So mismatched and so pretty! I am currently seated at our natural wood kitchen table that belonged to my mother-in-law when she first got married. Chairs match, but aren't of the same era. Maybe I should photograph it, or part of it...?

As you know - from experience - I like also the idea of exchanging photos and texts between bloggers - especially inviting others, giving you a day "off"! I guess you have the right after 300, but it's only a "step"! Already your Paris-to-do-list should add a few hundred more:-)

Laurie,
Bring it on. I need some days off to get ready for Paris!

Alice,
As I said I'm but a baby compared to your 800posts. That's a lot of fabulous photos!

Bergson,
I agree! Wish I were sitting there looking at the beautiful scenery one experiences in Vancouver.

'Tis a very nice photo...reminds me of our local bagel shop...though there the chairs are metal and they match!

Thanks for coming by Cedar Key DP and I hope you have a great day!

Happy day off!!! Did I mention that I finally conned, I mean convinced my husband to take me to Birmingham! We're coming the weekend of Memorial Day to play golf and take a look around your city.

You MUST send me the names/addresses of all the lovely cafes and restaurants you're always showcasing. And of course, I'd love to meet up for a coffee or a glass of wine. :)

You're right of course. What was I thinking????

Halcyon,
Well darn, I'll be in Paris then. Maybe you can come back this summer and see me? I'd love meet you and we could have some fun tasting our way all over B'ham. I'll email you my favs.

James, 3000 more? Lord have mercy!

Jacob,
You live in a beautiful place. The gulf coast is the best kept secret in the USA!

Wonderful! I have a link to my email on my blog in the links section. It's too bad you won't be there - but I'm sure you'll be having fun in the city of lights.

PS: I'll see if I can scrounge up a table and chairs pic for you. I have a few, I just don't label them as such.

Wayne took this? Your manager has outdone himself with this one. A gold star and a pass for a free day off to him. Freebies. I'll make you a deal. What about a Rivera image? See what images photographers take as holiday snaps.

The thing I like most is the shadow on the wall which recalls the lines liberty of the chairs...

Beautiful image and colors!!!

It's the big tease. The old 'could be a raise in your future' line is always dangling there just out of reach.

I consider myself fortunate that V. didn't charge me for posting it.

I swear, employees these days are so ungrateful even when their jobs are on the line!!!

B,
At the risk of giving him the big head, I kinda liked his photo too. Hey, I don't let no "riff raff" on this blog!!!

I guess I'm just riff with no raff, and that's why I'm tolerated. Maybe I can put together a table and chairs, but beware.

AH,
Let me have it.

W,
Big tease? Surely you jest!
