Under the Umbrellas

Made you smile, didn't it!  Welcome to Zoës Kitchen in Homewood.  Zoë's very first place was just down the street and it was hardly big enough to turn around in,  much less handle the mobs of patrons that lined up for lunch every day.  Now you can dine at Zoës all over town,  and you can find  franchises in AZ, TN, LA, TX, FL, NC, and SC !   Their  motto is "Eat Smart, Eat Healthy" and they mean it, but with  Zoë's great Greek twist.  I eat there a lot and it's always fresh and healthy just like they advertise,  but I have a little secret.......the homemade chocolate sheet cake is the absolute best thing you ever put in your mouth!

My gosh, these are so flamboyant (in a very, very good way)!
I still remember on of my faves - the red umbrellas you posted when you were just a little novice blogger. :)

excellent capture. very eye-catching and it looks like a piece of art. Thanks for your comments about the Frank Lloyd Wright Series. I was hoping it would be of interest to people. I have a few more days and then I will move on to different Chihuly, cactus and desert photos. I was in Morocco for the past two weeks so I wanted to make sure there was a series of something that would be informative and different for people to enjoy while I was away. Morocco was very interesting and, surprisingly, very French. A very different experience than Egypt or Jordan. It was a quite enjoyable trip. I will spend the next week catching up on everyone's websites and enjoying their photos. Thanks for your comments on my site. I have read them all.

Great poster!
It should be easy to spot it in Phoenix even under the bright bright blue sky...

Love Zoe's! Their coleslaw with feta cheese is my favorite. But the cake is delicious too.

You need to look at Marley's post right now1 All I'll say. Love these zinging colours. Very sharp not bleeding into each other at all which is not easy for such hotties(colour dear colour.) Re yesterday. I knew you'd get the Burd bit. Very gifted young thoughtful youngster. I think he'd get this too.

Steviewren, Girl you know that's right. The slaw is good but oh my the sheet cake.

Julie,
Sheet cake is just a cake baked in a 9/13" pan or larger and frosted on the top. This one is very moist chocolate with homemade fudge icing. I'm drooling.

Hyde DP, I'll elbow you away if you come after my piece of cake!HA

Tash,
I was going to send you that red umbrella photo but couldn't find an email. I was a novice and probably you and just a few others ever saw that one!

Professor Crowe, Merci for the A! i'm such a brown noser!

AH, No grape leaves but plenty of other good stuff. Check their great website!

Alice,
It's almost as good as the "neverending chocolate mousse"!

Thank you all for stopping by today with your comments. I'm glad you liked this one so much. Who knew!???
