Shooting parades is NOT my forte. I find them crowded, fast moving (duh!), and often with really low light. I struggle trying to capture just a few that for me represent the spirit of the event. After shooting this year's Homewood Christmas Parade, I was convinced I had very little to show for it, but these two sweet faces made it all worthwhile.I have published two new Paris weekly calendars on Blurb, in color and black and white.

Interesting, this was exactly what I was thinking when I first saw these photos. Those cars are moving and the light is so low, how did she get such clear images? As usual I'm in awe of your talent :)

Nice capture of the children at the parade. I like your book. The photo for July is a wonderful capture. I assume it must have been Bastille Day. We were in Paris for New Year's in 2001 and thought we would see fireworks near the Eiffel Tower, but there were none. Just millions of people along the river and filling the Champs Elysses.
Love that little face in the bottom photo!!!
I'm really impressed with your "Paris through my Lens 2012" calendar! It got me thinking....
