Vintage Record Heaven

Renaissance Records in the Five Points South district is a fun and funky place to browse around.  Old music buffs could wander in and never be seen again.  Nice to know places like this can stay in business when they're up against the Big Boys and the internet.  Owner Gary Bourgeois has owned it since 2003.  He's fun to talk to, tell him I sent you!

Fun image of vintage things. I'm impressed he''s managed to stay in business since 2003. The vintage/
antiques business here is in the doldrums.

Did I mess up on my message? If duplicate, just delete. I would love to visit this shop! Am also enjoying your FB photos of the scarves on your sweet little cat.

Great photo and post! I see the bit of that famous statement on the front of the machine--RCA Victor!

I'd enjoy this place. They got any old Caruso recordings?

I notice that the gramophone has the old RCA slogan, "His Master's Voice." One of the biggest music stores in the UK is still called HMV.
