Birmingham Rouge - Red Gate

Parkside has changed its image.  It started out as a wonderful  art/accessories/antique shop.  Now it is a charming neighborhood bar in the Avondale neighborhood.  Out back I found this nice red gate.

WRITE YOUR OWN TITLE FOR THIS QUIRKY IMAGE...... and the winner is........
David McMahon's : " After the pool closed, the sychronized swimming team had to train wherever they could."  I had not one , but TWO impartial judges this week. I can't promise that level of impartiality in the future, but good judges are hard to find without a kickback. I thank each and everyone of you for participating.  More to come !

Congratulations to David. He came up with so many wonderful options. I think the judges made an excellent choice.

Well, Virginia, j'adore today's photo as it has red, green, a shadow, texture... Okay, I am gushing about it but love the intersecting lines of the shadows on this bright red. I would like to have this sitting in the back of my garden -- would be great as a trellis for jasmine or another vine.

Bises,
Genie

(wv = balones !! but I am sincere)

Merci, madame - and for all those who left the kind comments above.

I had a ton of fun with your contest. Thanks for posting it - and I do hope you do this regularly.

My humble thanks to the impartial judges.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a torii gate but any red barrier should keep the evil spirits out. But wait, what about the Golden Gate Bridge?
