Can you believe it? Here in Birmingham and around the state, school is starting already! I always had this quote posted in my room on the first day of school.
NOT YET!!!! It's still summer. I like you quote. I still feel that way every September even though I've been out of school for a loooooong time. Very pretty colorful book stacks.

how i loved getting new books at the beginning of the school year.
Well its understandable .. with the heat there its likely impossible to sit indoors w/o AC .. and I suspect the schools are not AC'd
A challenge for both teachers and students.
Ohhhh, and I love the smell of books (and erasers and freshly-sharpened #2 pencils)!
