As I was leaving the Birmingham Zoo last Friday, I trailed behind a peacock nonchalantly walking along ahead of me. I'll be honest, this is the first time I've ever been able to closely observe/ photograph a peacock's feathers at close range. Gawgeous!

They are the most gorgeous birds. We used to have breeding pairs when I lived in Tasmania but you know it's considered unlucky to have their feathers in the house. I still have some tho - here - from those days. Why did you add labels 'ostrich feathers' to this post?
