Angels We Have Heard On High

The Advent Day School's Choral Ensemble presented a Christmas concert yesterday.  Under the direction of Rick Phillips, this choir always amazes me.  (By the way, that's my little angel Eva on the front row in the middle!)

And while these angels sang, in Connecticut the unthinkable was happening. Once again our nation's heart is broken in grief and disbelief.

May these beautiful young voices be heard!

Well expressed, Virginia. Sadly, it's the Unthinkable that seems to happen over and over again.

I feel so much outrage that I cannot respond reasonably to your fine photo. I wonder how the Newton, CO families of those children and teachers will feel about this and subsequent Christmases?

We've been listening to a few choirs in the last week or so Virginia. Let's just hope the good can out-sing the bad.

Beautiful photo, Virginia (your little angel is darling). Unthinkable is truly the word. Also, heartbreaking...

Sweet shot V! And such a contrast to yesterday's tragedy...

A good choice for today, all considered, Virginia.

Such seriousness of purpose, such energy. When I was a kid, I got to sing this hymn with St. Teresa's choir from the balcony of the main hall of Grand Central Station. I'll never forget the day.

They're precious, Virg -- valuable and irreplaceable.
