I'm home from 10 wonderful days in Paris and just in time to gear of for Thanksgiving. Here in Alabama. you are likely to find a pecan pie alongside the traditional pumpkin on most dinner tables. Whether you pronounce it Pee-can or Pe-cahn, it's delicious!

DH loves pecan pie! I got a bag of pecans from a friend in the Southwest. Great nuts but hard to shell yet worth the effort.
I would have to disagree... pecan's the only pie I don't care for!
