Birmingham churches have come and gone but thankfully many have remained but have found different congregations to keep them alive in our changing city. Walker Memorial United Methodist Church in Birmingham's west end neighborhood has become the new home for the House of Restoration Church. A new direction for this beautiful old church.

It does happen here that a new congregation takes over a church whose membership has dwindled. A former Baptist church here has become a church for a Korean speaking Christian group.
