Driving home last night from a downtown event, the Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children was all lit up and so colorful, I found a quick parking spot and got out. I have always loved these fountains but at night, they are even more terrific.

This stairway leads to a fabulous skylight atop the new Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children. It is one of many amazing healing places in Birmingham.

Birmingham Rouge - Welcome!

Whoever designed this fountain at the entrance to the new Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children, knew just what they were doing.  Going to the hospital is a scary thing for children of all ages. This made me smile when I saw it. I hope it does the same for the children that come here as well.
