Dazzling Dahlias

I visited Kathy Whitfield's home recently to shoot her fabulous dahlia gardens again. I think I'll share a few this week with you.

I"m putting the finishing touches on my newest phototalk, GARDENS OF BIRMINGHAM, and I will include the "Dahlia Lady" as well as the Adama and Clark homes and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. I love to present my phototalks to civic, church and study clubs, as well as garden clubs.

Merci!

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Kirkwood By The River who are so kind to invite me over and over to present phototalks for the residents. Today I shared my The Renovation of the Pizitz Building. As I left, I snapped this lovely shot outside the entrance.

For my Birmingham area readers, I'd love to present one of my many phototalks for your group in the future. Visit my website to see the listing of talks I offer. Please contact me for any questions you might have. It's not too soon to book for the coming year!

Here's the church, here's the steeple...

Last night I had the pleasure of presenting my phototalk on Sacred Spaces of Birmingham, at First Presbyterian Church. We Presbyterians call it , "First Pres".  Many thanks to  Associate Pastor, Reverend Cat Goodrich for inviting me, and to the members who gave me a warm welcome. This church, in the heart of our downtown district, is a loving and welcoming community that continues to serve and make a difference in our city.
