This past weekend was Birmingham's Art Walk. Artists were tucked in every nook and cranny of the downtown loft district. At
Space One Eleven, I fell in love with these colorful wind socks created by students that benefit from their terrific program for Birmingham's youth.

Cute! Am sitting here at a seminar sort of listening. My colleague here makes these with her class!
Imagination at work. Very creative.
Its a crafty time of year around the country ... I am always seeing things I want but have no place to put or hang ...
Hmmm, maybe I could switch from ceramics to windsocks.
They look really good. Shame they didn't put them outside or have a fan blowing to show them in full wind sock mode.
I had no ideas they were called windsocks..
Birmingham children are quite talented
I believe these are swimming to the top!
the colors and your take make them more beautiful.
nice, V.
Thanks everyone. Now that I look at them again, maybe they were kites??? Whatever, I thought they were just a riot of color and fun!
love the colors
Delightful. And a color filled photo! I think that youth art program is a terrific thing for the youth of your community!
Kudos to all involved!
Oh why do we grow up. Kids see the world in such a rich way.
What a great colourful collection!
